This category asks questions about work quality, information used to complete work, and the employees knowledge about the organization as a whole. I found that this was only section where leaders and employees agreed on one question stating that the employees now how the measures they use in their work fit into the organization’s overall measures of improvement. But on the other hand, those same employees noted that they personally do not know how their organization is doing as a whole. One person noted, “I find out to get the information, then get it and apply it. Nothing is readily available to use ever.” Another person commented, “I only hear about how my department is doing, I have no clue about the others.” Even one of the leaders admitted that not everyone knows certain information. I found that largest gaps seem to be found on 7a, 7b, and 7i. Taking a look at 7a, which states, “Our employees’ work products meet all requirements. The gap for 7a equaled out to -.70, the employees averaged out to be a 4.20, while the leaders averages ended up being only 3.50. The leaders do not agree that their employees’ work products meet requirements, while employees to agree to that statement. Question 7b is almost identical to the last question. Leaders do not feel like their employees’ customers are satisfied with their work, while the employees feel like their customers are very satisfied. This proves that there is a lack of communication in this organization – either the leaders need to reach out and express to the employees’ their concerns or the employees need to go to the leaders and do the same thing. If there is a lack of communication, then the quality of the products and services will decline. Please refer to Figure
