Approach
A tool that I used for the analysis is story grammar. In my opinion, its format is similar to mind mapping, which can really help us to see a clear story and picture. Another advantage is that when different aspects are combined together, it can form a major theme of fear as a love relationship between Jig and the American, from the story of Hills like the White Elephant, and the Daughter and Frank from Eveline.
Theme Development

For example, one of my acquaintances was pregnant and her boyfriend dumped her afterward because she insisted not to go for the abortion. At the moment, she is a single mom. I really feel sorry for her and the other women who were treated as a victim. Regarding the Eveline, she used Frank as the tool to achieve her own personal purposes, which I am personally confident that that there are many kinds of these people as it appears in many places, and when there is no more benefit then they decided to ignore and never know you. For instance, in our college, MUIC, there are some students who never say hello for almost the whole term then they decided to ask you to help them for tutoring, and after an exam they ignored as we did not know each other
