I would do some research about the problem and look at the best practices before giving any advice them. I would develop an individual plan based on my findings for the student, parent, and the teacher. I would recommend that the teacher and parent must work together in order to help the kids. I think it is really important for parents to read books to their children. It is so important to have discussions about books because as children get older many times, parents see their children decode the words but they cannot have conversations about what they read.
