"No means no, George! Now, sit back down and put your seatbelt back on!"
It was a typical day for George and his dad. Every morning while his dad takes him to school, they would drive by the pet store. George then would beg his father to buy him a goldfish, and, like usual, his father would say no. Ever since his class got new goldfish for their fish tank, he wanted a goldfish of his own.
George has always wanted to be like his father. He looked up to him. At home, his father's office was restricted from him. One time, George asked why he wasn't allowed in and his dad replied, "Because all of my things are in there."

Choosing the right goldfish was extremely difficult for George. When they arrived at the pet store, he ran to the goldfish section and immediately started to browse them.
"Ooh, I want the orange one! No, the yellow one! No, the white one!"
Finally, he decided on getting a goldfish that was orange and white.
"Yay! I have a goldfish! I have a goldfish!" he cheered.
After arriving home, George brought his new goldfish to his room and stayed there until evening. When his mother arrived home from work, his father told her about the goldfish. She wanted to see it. She went to George's room and said, "Hey, George, can I see you new goldfish?"
"No! I bought it so only I can look at it!"
His mother was shocked. "Who gave you that kind of idea?"
"Daddy! He doesn't let me in his office because he said that he bought everything in there, so I won't let anyone look at my goldfish because I bought it! Now, I'm a grown-up, just like Daddy!"
