Before he accepted Islam he was an enemy of Muhammad. Umar was also a very violent person who took a lot of cities from the Arabian Empire. Although Umar was a fugitive of the battle of Uhud which in the battle he ran toward the mountain.
Uthman was one of the most peaceful caliphs of the Islamic Empire because for his first 6 years it was peace the next years was him battling conflicts with rebels. (A.Stacey, 2009) Uthman was assassinated because he was a siding with a clan. Then Ali was accused of helping with the assassination of Uthman. (CaspianReport, 2015) A important detail to know is that Uthman was supposed to be the first caliph but then the high council wanted Abu Bakr him more. He was also the first cousin of Muhammad.
