Psychoanalysis deals with unconscious conflicts and assumes that the client is unwell with the goal of the treatment is to bring the patient back to health. One of the significant contributors to psychoanalysis is Sigmund Freud, and he proposes that people are not aware of what causes their emotions and behaviors.
