She would be the sweetest girl until she was mad about something. Before coming into the program, she beat up her step mother and knocked her unconscious. She would get really angry with the one little boy who also lived in the same Treatment home. She would smack him and pinch him until he cried. During her psychological evaluation, the psychologist asked her why she was so angry and mean towards people. Her answer was that it was everyone else’s fault, not hers. Pressley Ridge has two different audits at the end of the summer. I got to experience one of them. Whenever there was nothing for me to do, my supervisor would show me how to audit a file. I only worked on the files of the children I worked with. My supervisor showed me how to go through the file, make sure everything was there, how to mark down what was not there, and where to find incoming documents for the file. This was a great learning experience for me because I know that one day, I will be experiencing an audit first hand. It taught me that no matter how much stuff you have to do, you have to stay on top of your paperwork or you will get too far
