WHO IS DALAI LAMA?
The Dalai Lama is known as the leader monk of Tibetan Buddhism and by tradition, is responsible for governing the Himalayan country. The name is a combination of the Mongolic word dalai meaning "ocean" and the Tibetan word bla-ma meaning "guru, teacher, mentor". The Tibetan word lama corresponds to the better known Sanskrit word guru.
The 14th Dalai Lama Tendzin Gyatsho is a Buddhist monk and the head monk of the Gelug School (yellow hat school; one of the four leading Tibetan Buddhist schools). He was born on the 6th of July 1935 as Lhamo Döndrub in Taktser, a village in the province Amdo, which is located in the northeast of Tibet.
This research it is mainly discussing the 14th Dalai Lama Tendzin Gyatsho.

All of that did not come out of nothing: he did fight and is still fighting for everyone’s and everything’s rights on earth, even for plants, animals and water, not only for human beings. The Dalai Lama is popular in Tibet because he is that nation’s spiritual leader and its messenger to the world.
