The message that is prevalent in this current culture is that Islam is a religion of peace. This is the predominant issue that is being researched in this paper. Is Islam a religion of peace or is it a religion of war? With a carful analysis of the history and doctrine of this ideology, an answer to this question can be clearly seen.

Islam is on the rise throughout the world. Noah Feldman writes, “By 1995 it was estimated that there were between 4.6 million and 5 million Muslims in the United States and Canada.” Islam has been one of the fastest growing religions in the world.
