However, Joseph overcame suffering by diligently working to please the Lord during slavery. In addition to joseph finding success for his achievements, he was granted the head of his master 's wife intended to seduce joseph. Being that joseph refused sexual relations, she accused joseph of rape. Joseph then found himself in jail where he interpreted a man’s dream, which gave him the opportunity to interpret the pharaoh 's dream as well. Although he was a young boy David had been anointed to be king years before he was actually king. He started his legacy as a great warrior when he defeated a philistine giant by the name of goliath. Jealous of the blessing God had given David, Saul began to plot against David. Dual wanted Davi d dead and tried many ways to accomplish his plan. Although Davis new Saul was attempting to kill him David refused to lay a hand on Saul because he believed in him not harming the anointed men by god. However, David had many opportunities to kill Saul but did not. Eventually, Saul died in battle and David became king of Israel at 33 years of age. Although David had become a great king in Israel he committed sins that caused a heartbreak in his family.
