The article focuses on the pharmacy NECC-New England Compounding Center, and about the illegal acts and horror caused by this business. Their illicit behavior has affected more than eight hundred people who suffered from fungal meningitis, and has also caused sixty-four deaths. Their business of selling these illegal drugs and prescriptions to people and other establishments is causing more and more buyers to suffer from the effects that these drugs are causing. It is unethical because NECC knew that these drugs caused harm to people 's bodies and were still retailing them for a profit. Another issue that was discussed in this article was a wrongdoing on NECC’s part. The pharmacy was only allowed to sell to individuals; not to clinics or in large batches; therefore they were acting as a manufacturer while only being regulated as a pharmacy. Through the process of doing this, NECC was also trying to hide this illegal activity by using fake names in their pharmacy
