Lincoln Smith- defendant Lincoln was born June 2nd, 2003, he is 21 years old. He has always gotten into trouble, never got good grades, and was arrested at 15 for riding a cow down the highway. He has never held a stable job. He was fired from his first job because he put a cow in the break room as a “prank”. He ended up graduating late and never went to college. He has been depending on his parents and his friend Lexa, whom he met at a car show, he has never had an apartment or a car. She has served in the courtroom for 12 years and has liked her job for a long time. She has no kids or a husband, but is very happy either way. She lives on a small farm with her best friend and is very happy there. She makes plenty of money to pay her bills and save up for retirement. She enjoys having Lily Matthews over for tea and super. Her own parents are dead, so she has no one. She has donated to many charities and even gave money to John Wilson when she found out he was making a farm to help the homeless. She even started expanding her own farm and hiring some of the homeless people. She has never been arrested and always done good. She is well liked by people who meet her.
Taylor Lawrence-Witness: She was born December 17th 1997, she is 26 years old. She moved to Silly Town 2 years ago. She is a rich girl who runs her father's company in town. Judge: Will the clerk swear the jury in?
Clerk: (speaks to the jury) Please stand and raise your right hand. Do you swear to well and truly interpret these proceedings, so help you God? Please say I do. (Jury says I do) You may be seated.
John: Your honor and ladies and gentlemen of the jury, the defendant that is before you has been charged with dui, theft, and destruction of property. The evidence I will present will prove to you that the defendant is guilty of the charges.
Sarah: Your honor and ladies and gentlemen of the jury, under law my client is innocent until proven guilty. Over this trial you will hear that he did in fact get behind the wheel and crash, but not if he was truly drunk or if he did in fact take the car without permission. There for my client is innocent.
Judge: The prosecution may call its first witness.
John: The people call him Officer Max Prier.
