Marine Corps Security Forces Information:
Marines who desire to volunteer for Marine Corps Security Forces Duty should first be screened by their unit career planners in accordance with MCO 1326.6D. If qualified, they may submit a TFRS RELM to CMC (MMEA-25).
Marine Corps Security Forces School Information:
Gear List: All inbound students will be required to bring all MARPAT uniform items(Woodland and Desert), Service "C" or "B", Service "A", Marine Corps Running Suit, green PT sweat shirt, green PT sweat bottoms, green PT running shorts and running shoes.

Basic Instructor Skills Course is recommended if being assigned to Training Company's cadre. It is highly recommended students bring a Laptop to aid in assigned coursework.
Marines will need to ensure they have an up to date security clearance that has been adjudicated within the last five years and will need to contact the MCSF TCo PRP Chief at 757-421-8582 to conduct a screening prior to arrival.
Course Expectations: BSG Course is designed to give SNCO's and NCO's a comprehensive knowledge base on how to be successful within MCSF Regiment. Students will be evaluated throughout the course's six training weeks in both written and performance based exams, become qualified with the M9 service pistol and the service shotgun, as well as conduct physical fitness exercises. Marines will learn different types of weapons within MCSF, learn basic Physical Security and Tactics and how to write an operation order and conduct an operation in a final exercise which will evaluate everything learned throughout the course.
