Ethics also referred to as moral philosophy that involves defending and recommending concepts of wrong and right conduct that addresses disagreement of moral diversity. Philosophical ethics carries out a formal enquiry on how humans should live and on how to make right kind of decisions whether are wrong or right in particular scenarios.

Ethics applies to all the people both the religious ones and the non-religious. Therefore, confining ethics to religion means that they do not apply to the non-religious. A conflict exists between science and religion regarding the origin of man. Christianity argues that man was created by God while scientists say he evolved from apes. The creation-evolution controversy proves that ethics depends on one’s position.
According to business ethics corporations do have the same moral rights as individual human beings since they are formed by a group of people who come together with the aim of making profits to serve other people. These people formulate the rules and regulations that are favorable to both the corporation and the community around it.
A corporation is an incorporated separate legal entity that is established through legislation or a registration process set by the law. Corporations have separate legal rights and liabilities that are separate from that of its owners, members or the employees. It also has the ability to conduct business with the aim of either making profit or not. The shareholders, including the staffs that are responsible of running the corporation are people who have moral rights. It has a chain of about 35000 outlets in 119 countries that serve around 68 million people every day, and this makes it the largest hamburger fast-food restaurant in the world. The corporation has a clear set code of ethics that it uses to govern its operations. All the staff members in the corporation are committed to the code of ethics and ensure that all the business activities abide by the required standards (Business Policy and Strategy,)

In the case of any conflicts, the corporation promises to resolve the conflict without favoring any party. The corporation is also required to be fair, just and transparent when giving returns to the shareholders.
