The medical field offers many different occupations and opportunities. All have an equal level of importance and are necessary for each other to perform at a good standard. While all jobs in the medical field are important there are only a few that I could see myself doing.Those jobs are more hands on and interacting with patients. I want to go into the medical field because helping people is something that I love to do and I can't think of a better job than that. It has been my dream to go into the medical field since I was eleven, but there are still some questions that I have about it.

The one that Brandon specifically mentioned was medical malpractice. Brandon stated “although, I haven't really heard that many examples of actual cases, I have heard of malpractice before.” According to the American Bar Association (2015) website medical malpractice is negligence committed by a professional health care provider—a doctor, nurse, dentist, technician, hospital or hospital worker—whose performance of duties departs from a standard of practice of those with similar training and experience, resulting in harm to a patient or patients. I asked Brandon Mcfarlane(2015) what qualities did he think someone in the medical field should have and does he have all of those qualities? Now according to the College Foundation of North Carolina: Plan for a career (n.d.) website someone in this field must be someone who is investigative. They like to take a problem or situation and look at the causes and different ways to fix it. Also, you have to be someone who likes doing hands on projects and hands on things to find solutions to problems. Lastly, you have to be social, someone who likes being around people and working together.
