Before I booked my cruise, even though I was going with my parents and a bunch of their friends. I didn’t want to go by myself. So finally, I found a friend to come with. Talk about the most obnoxious drunk I ever met! The first few days, I tried my very best. I was still nice to her and we went everywhere on the ship together. After a while even the alcohol was not working for me anymore. She was still annoying, worse than my little sister. Between us, my parents, and their friends, there was twenty-three of us in our group. Thank goodness for that because after about midway through the cruise I could not take it anymore. I started getting slick and would ditch her and go do my own thing or hang out with new friends that I met on the ship. The atmosphere was amazing, I completely forgot about all my worries and what was stressing me back home. I even turned my phone off for the whole seven days because it was a fortune to text or call on international waters.
Towards the end, the last few days, I think she finally got the hint that I did not want to spend every waking moment with her on our cruise, she also met a few girls on the ship, and she got a long with. Spent the last few days with them and I also did the same. There was about five thousand people on the ship, it was a fully booked cruise. So it was not hard to meet people and have fun especially when alcohol was involved.
Next time I will know what I am in for. Even though, I had a few difficulties, I still had an unforgettable time. I do recommend everyone to go on a cruise and experience it for themselves. This is something I will never forget, but for sure next time I go on a cruise, I will chose wisely the company I
