During Medieval times many things began to change from religion to a lot of wars going on. This is where gardens took place. People's food was very scarce so they had to take care of it the best they could. It was also very important that they had medicine, they grew all their medicine in their gardens. This is when kings and queens order for their gardens to look and be a certain way. This was also a time where walls became so important to keep out invaders.
The middle age garden had a variety of different features. The gardens had alleys or tunnels, flowery mead, Gloriette, trellis work, and dovecotes.
