When someone thinks about the Mojave Desert, one can imagine sand and Joshua Trees, but no one thinks about the problems that face this land. To make matters worse, this problem faces all of earth. Climate change is a huge problem that not too many people want to face, or admit. There are also others who strongly oppose of this proposal. But whether or not we believe it, it is in fact true, and our earth is slowly dying from it. This problem is caused by the one and only, humans. Climate change is a real issue to all of earth and the Mojave desert, and this can become to grow into a disruptive, indestructible force if it is not acted on now.

The first major reason being an increase in wildfire production and longer sustainability and durability of the fire. They can destroy desert terrain and Joshua trees, which can eventually put them on the extinct list. Another reason to get rid of climate change is to help manage drought conditions in California. California is losing its main water sources and is, overtime, getting in a lower rate of rainfall. The final reason is all about saving the Joshua trees. This species is currently endangered, and could be extinct if current conditions escalate in temperature. This is like a mascot to the desert, and is a species that is true to people's hearts who live in the Mojave desert. For all these reasons, climate change, without a doubt, must be stopped, otherwise this will turn to an uncontrollable force, and it will only escalate, and we can't let heat
