While in some parts of the world it is free for the locals; however, surgeries and such cost a sufficient amount of money. Whilst we are growing older day by day, so are our beloved ones, if they were to get sick and demand serious medical attention, they will surely require money. Saving the ones we love is perhaps one of the most important issues to us, and without money we cannot help. It is shown that nowadays, simple surgeries can cost up to 50,000 dirhams in the UAE. As Agatha Christie once stated, “what good is money if it can't buy happiness?” (Christie, 1924, as cited in Goodreads, n.d, para. 2) and saving our loved ones will surely bring us happiness. For example, when our parents grow older, they are more subjected to become ill and seek medical aid. If we were to not be able to aid them, it will break our hearts, for all they have done for us and to not be able to assistance them because of money is discouraging.
In conclusion, indeed, money certainly can buy happiness. Money can buy many things, for example: education, accommodation as well as life necessities and heath care, that if were taken away from us, we would certainly be at a loss.
