My first reason of why I enjoyed "The Most Dangerous Game" by Richard Connell was the irony that they used making the story filled with plot twists and stuff that we would never detect about the story, which made the story very interesting to read. Like in the story of when Rainsford was saying that animals have no fear and are dumb and stupid. Later in the story as General Zaroff challenges Rainsford into game of cat and mouse. Making Rainsford have to use his mind of trying to survive and not get killed by General Zaroff and now rather then Rainsford being the hunter he is now being the hunted causing situational irony in the story. …show more content…
