Since we lived with my grandma, (my mom and brother) we always had a lot of family members come and visit. My grandma had a total of 7 kids, so I have a big family. All my cousins and I were around the same age group, just that I was a year or two older than them. They would always come over and we would play so many games. We would always host birthday parties or holiday parties at grandmas just because the house was so big. The house had two average size yards and one large one that was both of the average ones combined. The front yard was mainly empty besides the front boarder of the house there was a small flower garden. In the backyard we had a vegetable garden and lots of trees. When we would plant corn and they would be ready, we honestly made all the possible food you can think of that involved corn; my favorite was “Atole de elote.” The side yard was the huge yard that we would play tag, soccer, or just any kids games. Only thing that I found annoying about the huge yard was in the center of it there was this random tree with a rectangular shape cement bordering it. In the front of the house there was this long ramp that was sort of a porch but instead of steps to walk down of the porch there was a long ramp. When it would get too cold outside, our plan b was the basement but only in the day. At night the basement was truly the scariest place just because of how old it looked. In the basement, all the rooms surrounded the stairs in a circle. Each room seemed to connect to each other besides two, which were my grandpa’s room and an empty room that was our play room. Because of the fact that the rooms connected to each other, you could run around the stairs in a circle. We played multiple games in the playroom; we played dodge ball, red light green light and more. It was a large echo room with nothing in it. Truthfully I do miss those good old days with my cousins. The amount of times my family got together at grandmas made me so happy. The yellow brick house brought the whole family together and I loved it because I just loved spending time with my cousins and
