Implementation of Project
The basic start of n-Logue was from Pilot project. Their basic purpose was to show that there is some market for information and communication within poor rural areas with the help of developing and deploying innovative technologies, models of assessment and business. The project is known as SARI, which is also a part of Digital Nations Consortium of the Media Labs of MIT and International Development Center for Harvard was recently launched or deployed on January 25, 2001. This center of Access will have
¬ An internet connection being leased by some partner with the nearest Internet gateway.
¬ Radius and servers of NAT and DNS.
¬ A software that will help customers to submit their bills and at the same time, keeping track of every single bill payment (Birkett, 2010).
This facility of the center will be deployed by n-Logue and handled by LSP. These LSPs will be able to give away following services to customers. They are:
• Email facility
• Hosting of customer’s web pages
• Hosting of customer’s servers (Almutairi, 2007)
Similarly, various set of repeater stations will be installed as well helping out coverage for almost 25 km radius from various stations of the hub. This mean, these access centers can approximately emit signal data up to 2000 sq. The first ever access center was developed and deployed at Melur Taluk, located within the district of Madurai, residing at the 28 km distance from the city of Madurai.
