The sound made my body shudder with an eerie feeling that made me think this bus was super sketchy and unsafe. My cousin, Tina, saw me freaking out like a cat that’s about to take a wet, cold bath and asked if I was alright in my head. I assured her everything was all swell as I remembered that this isn’t my first time going on buses like this. Sitting down on the seats were, surprisingly, quite comfy. They felt nothing like the ones back at home where they’re rock solid, instead, they were soft as if they were crafted with clouds gather from the high heavens. I wasn’t the only one that was freaking out about the seats, the rest of the family was in shock of how great looking for a bus they rented for such a low price. Hearing the word “sleep” here in this country scares me a lot as it brings back old memories from the past. A couple years ago, when I last stayed here in Vietnam, I encountered a bug. Now, I encounter bugs a lot, I mean, who doesn’t? However, this bug I encountered was special as the bug was right next to my undefended nose when I woke up from a sleep. It was absolutely terrifying to see a small black insect chirping some sort of weird language in my half awake face. I freaked out at the sight of this hideous intruder and jumped out of my bed high enough to do a slam dunk if a basketball hoop were in my vicinity. Any memories beyond that were erased as I forced myself to not remember and relive that moment. Still, to this day, I remember every bit of detail of that foul creature who crept up to my face like a grim reaper and decided today was the day I
