On the Church: During Hitler’s rule of Germany, religious teachings were banned the Catholic Youth League was broken up, and Catholic priests were arrested. All of this was done despite the signing of an agreement with the Pope. Hitler went on to set up the Protestant Reich church with Nazi bishops. Furthermore, minister’s that opposed or resisted were sent to concentration camps.
On the Youth: In order to get the Youth of Germany to follow and accept Nazi ideas, Jewish and anti-Nazi teachers were fired and the children were taught subjects that were pro-Nazi. The boys were taught to glorify war through physical activities and the girls were taught to accept their role as “mothers”.

The requirement of a large military too brought down the rate of unemployment. With the building of such a massive military, jobs in iron, steel aviation and shipbuilding were created in the thousands.
On Worker’s Conditions: Strikes were prevented by the labour front. Many Germans preferred jobs that paid low salaries to unemployment. To make lives better, the organization “Kraft Durch Freude” (which is translated to strength through joy) was started.
