Due to the Republicans policy of limiting the intervention government had in businesses, the Republican government did not allow trade unions to be allowed in businesses. The government felt that the implementation of trade unions would restrict the profits made by businesses and add more problems in the business than was needed. This is turn shows that the Republican policies were not beneficial to America as it failed to protect its people and implement and social welfare. The Republican government did not allow trade unions which left many American workers to be exploited by their capitalist employers. The Republican policies were not beneficial as they failed to protect the interests of the American people. The Republicans during this time were more concerned about the progression the economy rather that looking after the people.
