He was born in Germany, in 1818, and died 65 years later, in 1883. During his life, he wrote many philosophies but he is most known for his work on the Communist Manifesto. The Communist Manifesto explains Marx’s world view and his predictions for how society will progress to one day naturally become communist. Marx grew up in a time were capitalism was just beginning to emerge. Marx’s saw the flaws in the system and wanted to find a way so that there would not be class system, land and business would be publically owned and everyone would be treated well and act for the good of the society. He did not like the way that the bourgeoisie class, the land and factory owners, mistreated the proletariat class, the industrial laborers. Although Marx wanted the end result to be a communist society, he believed that society would naturally progress through from an agrarian society, to a capitalist society, then to a socialist society, and then finally to a communist society. Since the fact that Stalin was obsessed with power and security, I think that if the Limited Test Ban Treaty was proposed to Stalin he would have signed it because by signing it, it would have meant that he was able to control the development of the nuclear weapons better. Also, I believe that he would have agreed with the clause that states that a country with nuclear capabilities is not allowed to disclose any nuclear secrets with a country that does not have nuclear capabilities because it would of assured that no more countries can threaten the well being of Soviet Russia. Although, I do not think that Stalin would of enjoyed caving into the pressures of the western
