Every culture, every family and every person has their own values and beliefs that they abide to. Every household lives by a different set of ideals, these can be influenced by religion, the environment they live in and also what kind of government they follow. However the factor that everyone has different interpretations of are norms. Norms are something that is usual or standard, they are like actions or words we say on a daily bases that are normal and not unusual. Norms are important to a society because it keeps every individual in the society in check with themselves and their behaviour. Laws, rules and regulations are not sufficient to keep a society at peace. Aunt(in confusion): What??
Me(Shouting): Imperio
Aunt(still confused): What do you mean
Me(laughing): Uni is going good.
My aunt was confused and she totally ignored what i said, later on she went to my mother and asked her what they were teaching me in university, that is when my mother explained the assignment i had.
The conversation i was having with my uncle was very funny, we were sitting and talking about my cousins and making fun of them.
Uncle: Look at shamsa, look at how she is sitting.
Me(Shouting): Spectumsempra
Uncle: Spektumspooora
He thought i was saying something that was an insult to my cousin and he liked it, i couldn't continue because i kept laughing at his reaction, i didn't expect it. He later on kept saying Spektumspoora for the whole day.
I finally tried the conversation with my grandmother.
Grandmother: can you pore me some coffee please
