A) The article has a lot of information on Teresa but, it would be helpful to know if other members of her family also dealt with her condition. The kind of medication, Teresa took in the past would be helpful because as the article stated she did not like the side effects. Finding new medication without any side-effects can help her a great deal. With new medication Teresa would be able to cope better with life.

Learning and using coping skills to address these problems helps individuals with schizophrenia to pursue their life goals,like Teresa going back to work. Individuals who participate in regular psychosocial treatment are less likely to have relapses or be hospitalized. Cognitive therapy helps individuals focus on the fundamental cognitive abnormalities that characterizes schizophrenia.Cognitive therapy is designed to help patients learn how to focus attention more precisely, to figure out problems more efficiently or more rapidly, to monitor ideas and speech more effectively, and to improve both mental and motor coordination. The hope of this approach is to help individuals with schizophrenia rewire their brains so that new connections are created. When the brain rewires schizophrenias can learn to think and function more clearly and effectively.
