This particular class is one of the largest at the school having 15 students with an additional two students from the Gauss Gymnasium in Worms, Germany joining the class for two weeks as part of the schools yearly exchange. Walker in the classroom as I have already seen her work in the dorms and on the athletic fields. She is a teacher who I greatly admire, not only for her endless energy, but also for her ability to handle any situation that pops up with ease. In particular, I was interested in observing domain 2 from Charlotte Danielson’s Enhancing Professional Practice (2007). More specifically, 2c (Managing Classroom Procedures), 2d (Managing Student Behavior), and 2e (Organizing Physical Space) (Danielson, 2007).
