Best describe as the evaluation of a company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats a SWOT analysis in my opinion has to be one of the most important support functions that a business can take advantage of.
It’s a great brainstorming tool that encourages managers to examine and execute strategies in a more balanced way. It’s not by any means the only way to create an effective business strategy, but it’s definitely a good starting place.
