The organization selected for this organizational performance analysis is Johnson and Johnson, which is a United States holding company that engages in the research and development, manufacturing and selling of different products within the field of health care. The reason for selecting this company is the fact that it has more than 265 different companies around the world that are conducting business with the primary focus on human health and well-being products. The survey method was selected on the basis that it is easy to administer and cost-efficient. This meant that the process of collecting information was not expected to be strenuous and the collection of data was expected to be achieved from a relatively large number. Another important aspect noted with reference to surveys is that an extensive range of data can be determined and collected in a more appropriate way. They were selected randomly from all departments, and this is one of the characteristics that have improved on the validity and reliability of the data collected. The survey questions used for this project were extracted from Hr-survey.com, which is a Website platform that addresses matters to do with employee attitude and other relevant measures of performance (“Employee Attitude Survey”). In relation to the secondary data collected, a variety of scholarly articles and reliable news articles were used while only the Website for Johnson and Johnson was visited for the appropriate company’s reports. As for ethical consideration, all participants were selected randomly with the help of their respective department heads, and an important measure to consider is that their participation in the project was on voluntarily basis.
