It is a silly episode with a moral that I understood, but did not actually follow. In a nutshell, my idol Spongebob, because of his intentions to please everyone, volunteered for Sandy’s science experiment and agreed to build Mr. Krabs’ telescope and to grab a cake for Patrick’s birthday. With his attempts to please everybody, he ended up pleasing nobody, as Sandy was left wondering why Spongebob had to use the bathroom repeatedly, Patrick was left wondering why Spongebob had brought him the wrong cake, and Mr. Krabs was left wondering why his telescope looked atrocious. While, my situation was not as dire as my friend Spongebob’s, there was still much that I had gone through. It really is quite ironic, that I didn’t actually listen to the moral from the episode, then again who really listens to kid shows. And like Spongebob, there was no way that I could go the entire year pleasing everyone, I must make a compromise, but unlike Spongebob, the compromise I had to make was not as simple as letting Mr. Krabs, Patrick, and Sandy know that I have made a mistake.
