Animals such as rabbits, cats, dogs, mice and especially primates, which have the most similar characteristic of human are common used in laboratories. According to PETA, most of the animals are isolated in steel cages that only have limit space to move and turn around. They are suffering insufficient of food, physical abuse and social isolation for long term, this cause them exhibit anxiety and stress as they undergo scary and painful procedures during the experiment as well. The imprisoned and worst living condition even worsen their health and cause the animals experienced abnormal behaviors such as pulling out their fur and scratching their flesh. These animals usually involved in drugs and diseases research such as cancer, Parkinson’s disease, HIV, and other infectious diseases. Animals have been used for entertainment of humans since long time ago. They are forced to train under the threat of physical punishment. Many of these animals suffer and even die in the training. However, most of the people just considering them fun when they are performing and do not justify the forcing of animals into confinement and pain. One of the examples is horse racing.
