Students could take advantage of the newfound time to relieve any stress through physical exertion for example: jogging, swimming, yoga and dancing; all things that we don’t have time to do when we’re tied to a chair for six hours doing homework. Homework aside, being in school for six hours straight with only a lunch break is tough, which is why in my ideal school there would be a “relaxation room” dedicated to stress relief using a variety of activities that students could choose from. This wouldn’t be a scheduled class because stress doesn’t get scheduled, so students could go to this classroom whenever they feel like they can’t concentrate or think, are having a bad day, or just need a break; they could even take a 15-minute (power) nap if needed. A lot of people in my high school take “mental days” because their brain just needs a rest. Mental days are definitely needed sometimes but with this relaxation room, students might not feel the need to take so many days off therefore attendance would
