The phonograph at the center of the dining hall began to play a slow and upbeat tune. Liu Bang was pleasantly surprised at the amazing music coming from the contraption, and the entire hall echoed the captivating tune of the music. “What kind of music is that?,” Liu Bang and Tupac asked “For I have never heard such an enchanting tune.” “Oh that? well that is the new genre of music that was created in America”, Tipu Sultan answered. “Its called Blues, which stemmed from the African Americans population during the late 1800s as a way to express their emotions and frustrations of life”, Pol Pot added. Jazz was inspired by the Blues and in recent years has become popular in the African American community.” Solomon smiled, “But as you guys can see African Americans are not the only people to enjoy Blues.
