I can still remember my first political memory. My mother born in a catholic family, decide to change her religion at age 18 to Seven-day Adventist. This change was from media and groups. She believed that this religion made sense. I entered this world as a seventh day Adventist, a Black American Haitian, my parents telling me to be careful on Haitian day and to come straight home, telling me when you see men and your alone to walk the other way, letting me know that police are to protect me, and telling me that Jesus is my creator. This causes me to be puzzled and curious at times, but as time changes so do the socialization. As a Haitian, I never had it easy until the media changed that. Only 19% of Americans today say they can trust the government to do what is right "just about always" (3%) or "most of the time" (16%) (Beyond Distrust: How Americans View Their Government). I would be part of that 16 percent. We put our trust into the government and yet they always find their selves around the book to let us down. Only Within a decade, a Vietnam War happened, civil unrest and the Watergate scandal, 9/11 terror attacks on the United States, Amid the war in Iraq, economic uncertainty at home. There are too many wars and attacks going on and Conspiracies are captivating major seats in the government. There is facts and endorsement for each of them.
