Was the Mass Popular Culture beneficial in the 1920s? The 1920s was called the Golden Age of American sports and the development of many cherished inventions, that are still used today. The start of the 1920s was the prime of the year because many people living in America, were chasing their dreams optimistically and reaching for change. However, the Golden Age and it’s generation were criticized and looked down upon for many unethical actions. To begin, probably the most treasured invention in the 1920s and still today, would be the radio. The radio granted communication and entertainment to the whole word. For example, the radio would broadcast games of baseball, which was most listened to and actually survived after the Great Depression. However, money was very involved, sadly. For example, the drawer would draw two men in a fight for who to vote for as their president, and could make one candidate look better than the other. Many inventions paralleled the feeling of the American dream, like the fly test for an airplane, people were in awe with the invention and “reproduced with startling reality” with the flyer’s successful landing (Source C). Furthermore, of course the cars were famous and still are because they are very beneficial, and for back in those times a car showed of your status. In conclusion, many inventions were a product of advertising but overall people of America loved them and felt special because they knew they were in the making of history. New inventions at first made people feel great but sometimes they can use listeners.However, isn’t a good motto “to learn from your mistakes”, so we as citizens can grow and the inventions can
