I am a very lazy person, and I tend to only do what I want to during any free time I have, ruling out any possibilities of exercising. I was able to exercise off and on, but the instances were so oddly spread apart that I doubt it would have had any noticeable, lasting effect. The times when I actually did work out, my legs and arms were so sore that I did not feel like ever exercising again. A fitness test is a great tool to utilize in order to measure cardiovascular fitness and understand how hard the body is working during physical activity. To measure a person’s overall fitness, four types of tests must be performed: aerobic fitness, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition (President’s Challenge). Each component is tested individually for cardiovascular strength, the ability to perform every day activities, joint movement and flexibility, and amounts of fat on the body respectively (President’s Challenge).
