Nurses are responsible for the lives of others so they need have the qualities it takes to take their jobs very seriously. It is important that the nurse have professionalism in and outside the workplace. Nurses need to see their patients as individuals, to know that every patient is different and may have different needs than others. Nurses do not need to show prejudice towards any patient and know that patients are going to come in all different shapes, sizes, colors, races, and genders.
