The researchers conducted an empirical analysis on the data collected from a survey of a pooled sample of young females aged between 18 to 26 years in 2008 to 2012. The study established that the consumption of the HPV vaccine increased by 22.5% from 11.6% to 34.1% from 2008 to 2012. The adoption of the vaccine was however differently across dissimilar social groups. The researcher identified the need to conduct a study on the reasons for low vaccinations among young women.
