Nipple Stimulation
Stimulating the nipples helps the pituitary gland produce oxytocin. Oxytocin helps stimulate contractions. Pitocin, which is a drug that is often administered at the hospital to stimulate contractions, is a synthetic version of oxytocin. There have been studies done to confirm the effectiveness of nipple stimulation.
