Today as always I arrived at 8: 30 and Miss B explained to me about the plans and program of the day. First, all the students completed their science activity and it was about the skeleton and the names of some bones. Also, they should answer an important question which was why skeleton is important for our body.
After that they had assembly. While they were in assembly Miss B talked to me about her planning for next two weeks. She said in year 3 …show more content…
Maths topics was about shapes and reflection. Miss B asked some pupils to come and do some reflections on the smart board. After that we had a new lesson for maths which was about a theory.
L. O. I can prove or disprove a theory.
Theory: Joe said I think every regular polygon has the same number of lines of symmetry as its number of sides. Prove or disprove. Foe example, A square has four sides, so it must have four lines of symmetry. In this activity I had lots of communication with all the students in my group. They were Z- R- M- M.
At the beginning of this doing this activity I handed them lots of plastic shapes. I explained about the names of the shapes and I demonstrated to them. For example, I said this is triangle or I took trapezium and I showed them the sides of the shape with my finger. They started to draw all the shapes and find the symmetry lines in every shapes. During they were doing the activity I tried to asked them some questions. For example, I asked them the names of the shapes again or asked them to show me pentagon, hexagon, trapezium, rectangle, circle, square,…. They answered all my questions right except one that I told them the correct
