The biggest problem that comes with lice is raiding them out of my apartment. I had to bag up all of my blankets, clothes, pillows, stuffed animals, etc. along with my roommate. I left the bags on my porch for a week to make sure that if there happened to be any louses still alive that they would die due to lack of blood. I also cleaned what seemed to be just about every inch of the apartment with bleach and pine sol to kill all of the parasites. It is such an annoying infection to have but thankfully it can be cured with the right treatment.
The diagnosis of pubic lice is difficult if you are unsure of where you obtained them from. You of course will know that you have them if you are experiencing itching like I was and look down there to find nymphs attached to the hair strand. The key to finding the louses is a good light source, like a flashlight, and using a magnifying glass so that you will be able to see them better. A nit comb will help to remove any of the eggs on the hairs or the empty shell casings. You should also see a doctor so that they can appropriately inspect the area. (Bignell
