My main focus throughout studying in London would be taking CMW 3013: Fantastic London. As described on the flyer for this program: “We will introduce you to some of the best fantasy books set in London and to the writing techniques the authors have used. We’ll be exploring London itself with four walks and four opportunities to taste the food of London.” As an English major and writing enthusiast, this class may allow me to see a world of literature and skillful techniques that I’ve never been exposed to before. Similarly, London is a beautiful city with multiple attractions I would be delighted to see including: Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and the Tower of London. London is derived from a status of traditional culture, a longevity of classical history, and a substantial amount of history throughout world history. Being able to take a writing course abroad, and apply whatever knowledge I already have in my possession and combine it with new experiences and forms of literature is remarkably spontaneous.
