I accomplished my goals because I worked really hard and focused on every single paper. In the beginning, writing seemed challenging. Now that the semester is over, I can sit and write a three-page paper in little or no time at all. I am able to do this because of all of the notes we took. In the beginning, I looked at the different ways of preparing for a paper and one stuck out to me. I would write an outline of what I wanted to write about and then I would make sub-headings under each bulletin describing what each topic would talk about. I used this process more with my research papers than with the narrative essays because I could see what facts I needed to look up and which ones I already knew. For the non-research essays, I wrote the first sentence to every paragraph first. After that I would write an outline of what I wanted to talk about in each paragraph. I then would start on my paragraphs and write my story. One of the most important lessons was that I needed to stay on top of my work otherwise it would take a while to catch up. In college, classes and papers will fly by faster than in this class, so I feel lucky to have the opportunity to feel the college paper writing experience. I also this this class taught me to work hard and never give anything less than 100 percent. I feel this way because with every paper I had to prove my skills and writing techniques in order to get a good grade. Taking this class has helped me improve my skills and techniques as a writer, and I look forward to the challenges that lie ahead in Composition
