The “Triangular Trade” is also referred to as the Transatlantic Slave Trade. This was a time in history when the people from the United Kingdom were pushing the envelope to develop the Land that is now known as the United States of America today. They went looking for laborers to help build up the land in America that they had begun to explore. Also, why they came to Africa to come and buy, sell, and trade goods and services for the growth of what we know as America now. A ship would be loaded up with items such as: manufactured products, textiles, and cooking utensils. To add, they went to Africa to buy slaves and obtain much needed natural resources. I wonder what if, we didn’t have the slave trade would I even be doing this homework right now. If the slave trade wouldn’t have happened I could’ve been the next in line to become Prince of an unknown tribe. However, the existence of the middle passage gave life to the new world. Without slavery, the diaspora of black people would’ve never happened. The countries affected by the middle passage would’ve been changed tremendously. The crime I see now would still exist if slavery never happened. There were already monarchies in Africa before the middle passage happened. If you think about it, we would all belong to families and dynasties that would’ve been ruling across different countries in Africa. I think the world would be separated amongst the continents. I say this because the idea of traveling and expanding the world was already thought about with explorers all over the world. I think it would be more wars and a lot more terrorism just because the countries are not friendly. The aftermath of the Trade made things to be better and rewarding. This effect our young people because they are being reminded to follow what the crowd does instead of what they see is right or nerdy rather. I do believe from the Slave Trade that America became wealthy, more than they would comment on because of the great produce and manufactured goods.
