Over the years, I have discovered that we teenagers are resilient, inventive, and accepting. When I asked my friend Elise what her opinion of teenagers was, she said, “I think teenagers are very open to new ideas, which makes them accepting”. We are resilient because we are constantly at battle with ourselves.
As teenagers, we are so much more at risk of depression and suicide. It’s recommended that teenagers get 9.5 hours of sleep a night. Since this is not possible most of the time, it affects our mental health, performance in school, and how productive we are at work.

Some of these characteristics are, being independent, energetic, adventurous, and intellectual. When I asked all of the people I interviewed what their worries were as a teenager, most of the answers were similar to the ones teenagers think about today. We are always wondering who we are going to be? Will anyone like me? Where is this money coming from? These responses are promising in a way because whatever their worries were then, it still allowed them to go on and lead happy and successful lives in their adulthood.
