The similarities between our world and the books world would be with it being that people don’t talk face to face anymore because of technology. They use technology to replace relationships. Mildred, Montag’s wife shows this when Montag comes home and she does not even look up at him. She also does not even realize she took too many sleeping pills. The family on her walls is what only matters to her. On page 17 it states, “ His wife in the TV parlor paused long enough from reading her script to glance up.” Montag also states, “Maybe you took two pills and forgot and took two and forgot again and were so dopey you kept right on until you had thirty or forty of them in you.” pg 17 We interact on the internet like on facebook, instagram, and facetime even though we can see each other over the phone and talk it’s just the fact that technology is taking over the human race. …show more content…
