Benvolio told Romeo that there will be plenty of beautiful women at the party that will help him get over Rosaline. While trying to catch a glimpse of Rosaline at the party, Romeo lays eyes on 13-year-old Juliet, who is the daughter of Capulet, and he immediately falls head over heels in love with her. Although, earlier in this story, Capulet tells Paris, a Capulet, that he may marry Juliet when she grows older. Without thinking twice, Romeo makes his way over to Juliet. Tybalt, Juliet’s cousin, recognizes Romeo and has intentions to kill him as soon as he spots him. He tells Lord Capulet that he is going to beat up Romeo for crashing their party, but Lord Capulet tells him to relax because Romeo looks like he won’t do any harm to anyone and also, if there’s a brawl then everyone’s fun will be ruined because the Prince will be angered. Romeo begins to flirt with Juliet and uses a ton of cheesy pick-up lines before he plants a kiss on her lips. All of sudden, the Nurse, Juliet’s babysitter, walks up to them and tells Juliet that her mother needs her. As Juliet goes to her mother, Nurse and Romeo have small talk and Romeo finds out that Juliet is indeed a Capulet. He realizes that he is in love with his enemy. He climbs up the wall to Juliet’s garden and waits there. Juliet comes out onto her balcony and speaks her private thoughts about Romeo. She reveals that she wants she will stop being a Capulet just to be with him. She also says that the only thing that is separating their love is their family name. She wants him to get rid of his name, so they can be together. Romeo finally speaks and says that he will stop being Romeo if it means that she will love him. Juliet starts to get worried that someone will see Romeo in her garden and kill him. Romeo says that he will rather be killed than live without her love. As the two of them exchange loving words, the Nurse call for Juliet to come to her. Before Juliet leaves the balcony she tells Romeo that she will send someone to him to see if his love is real and if he will wed her. When she leaves the balcony, Romeo immediately starts to search for a priest that will marry him and
