artist of his time. Salvador Dali, born May 11, 1904, was an amazing surrealism artist born in
Catalonia, Spain. He was known as a very successful draftsman, along with a painter. Dali
accounted his weird art and fashion sense to the Arabic people, claiming his ancestors were
Moorish. Salvador used symbolism all throughout his artwork. For example, the clocks in one of
his most famous paintings are symbolic for Einstein’s theory that time is relative and not fixed.
He used many symbols recurring in his artwork, and eventually, people caught on. Now, his
works are most famous for some of his symbols.

this day. Salvador Dali has numerous famous works of art. For example, The Persistence of
Memory, Christ of Saint John of the Cross, and Cabaret Scene. However, many other artists
have created beautiful works of art. For example, Rene Magritte painted a series of
